Cirque Dreams Holidaze Buffalo | Shea’s Performing Arts Centre
Imagine a 24-feet Christmas tree with ornaments fleeting across and above the stage with graceful movements like the acrobatic and air-bound gingerbread men or the toy soldiers performing foot drills not on the ground, but rather on thin wires suspended from the ground.
Or better yet, imagine all the characters from the Yuletide classic “12 Days of Christmas” rocking and bending themselves around and above the Christmas tree and almost everywhere you set your vision to in graceful and synchronized manner, that is what the “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” show is all about. As the NY Daily News describes it, its “charm, sparkle & talent by the sleighload”.
Buffalo will get to see the action live and in real-time to the beat of original and classic Yuletide scores for a limited engagement at the Shea’s Performing Arts Center from December 10 to 12, with two shows (afternoon and evening) for the final two days, so every family and/or groups of friends seeking for a wholesome and awesomely entertaining way to spend a December weekend can have the chance to be amazed and experience the exhilaration of watching these performers defy their limits all in the name of art, creativity, entertainment and the Yuletide season.
The show is just one of the many Cirque Dream productions that the company is known for, and is also one of the two special engagement shows – together with “The Nutcracker” – that the Shea’s has lined up for its patrons in preparation for the holidays.
